Cholcolate Brown and Black Velvet Beret

This is a luxurious 1980's vintage beret from milliner Abigail Aldridge of New York.  Aldridge's hats are carried at fine hat stores and are part of the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute collection. This hat is a soft, silk or rayon velvet two toned hat with the body in chocolate brown and the band and bow in black.  Mint condition measuring 22" in circumference.
